Who are Adventure Basics
Adventure Basics was founded by husband and wife duo Sally & Jarryd, originally from country New South Wales, but now calling Brisbane, Queensland home.
A love of adventure, new experiences and a connection to the land led them to begin Adventure Basics, a place that celebrates this love and hopes to inspire others to enjoy this specular world we are lucky enough to live in.
Sally – Writer & Photographer
Lover of waterfalls, a good book, and breakfast, Sally is more comfortable behind the camera than in front. Sally spends most of her time updating and publishing new content on the website and captures and edits all the images you see.
Jarryd – Content Creator
Always on the look out for a good fishing spot, you’ll find Jarryd on his phone, either looking up new gear reviews, planning the next trip, or just deep in Reddit. Jarryd spends most of his time running the social media accounts for Adventure Basics so drop by and say hello!
Maverick – Chief Explorer
Usually busy having a good sniff or doing zoomies on the beach, Maverick is a sweet but mischievous chocolate boarder collie. Originally from Tasmania, Maverick is no stranger to travel and loves nothing more than car rides and exploring new places.
